Made $10k from design product that took just 6 hours to build and launch.

A while ago, I launched Scribbbles (https://www.scribbbles.design/). It’s literally a pack of “scribbbles” designers can use in their website designs. The product was born out of need I had myself, so I challenged myself to stand up something in 24 hours and put it out there.

Now 25,000 downloads later, my silly Scribbbles are everywhere, used by brands like Chase, Invision, LegalZoom and more.

Just goes to show that even a silly project you spend less than a day on can actually turn into something sustainable.

In case you’re doing the math on where $10k comes into play with 25,000 downloads at at $4 a piece, I only recently began monetizing the product. For most of its life it has been 100% free, but due to its virality and the value it was bringing to brands everywhere, I recently put a price on it.
