After improving my site with feedback I got here on indiehackers, I launched indiebrands.io on producthunt today. So far I made 3 sales and 270 USD in revenue. Thanks for the feedback and maybe you can find something for yourself on the site.
This is a great idea. How do you decide which brands to put on your site? Which ones sell more quickly?
Awesome idea! Also read on Twitter you have now crossed $1k+ in sales, congratulations. The website looks awesome too, how did you build it?
Thank you! The site is build with next.js, stripe for checkout and react-notion as cms
Curious why you decided to go with that price range vs. something smaller?
Interesting. How did you come up with the list of domain names?
I search for expired domains. There tools to do this. I can filter those domains extremely precisely and then go through hundreds of them until deciding on a bunch. Going through expired domains helps me limit the sheer amount of possibilities and combinations as well as making filtering possible since expired domains can be collected in a database as opposed to never before registered domains.
did you actually buy them or just list them on your website? (which means I can just go and buy them on my own?)
I actually bought them yeah
Congrats! What are your future plans with indiebrands? Will you keep adding new domains?
Thank you! I am currently not sure and currently rethinking the whole thing, and finding out what made it so successful this launch (almost sold out now). I definitely will add new domains but I'm still debating whats the best way to go forward.
