Made $500 in pre-sale to validate my SaaS idea

Hello, I'm Mansour; a developer from France living in Sweden.

I'd like to share with you how I validated my idea before even launching the product.

I launched a mentoring platform (https://coding-challenge.avocadogrowth.com/en) where you can find a mentor in tech or sign up as a mentor.

I'm always getting messages on Twitter from people who see me doing projects and like portfolio ideas, and that's when I came up with the idea of creating a platform where you can do a mini-project every day. After all, it's true that it's intimidating to launch yourself into another project if you don't have the idea.

And the double benefit is that it can be used as a portfolio project, there's nothing like practice.

That's how last week I created a landing page and presented my project, a daily challenge platform, with the registered community voting for the best result of the day every day.

On the landing page, I put a lifetime access offer for $39 instead of $119 if you sign up before the official launch, and I put a mail list to prevent any potentially interested parties.

I'm launching my landing page on Twitter, LinkedIn and Reddit, and in the space of 10 days I've raised $500. It's a huge motivation for me, so stay tuned to follow the platform's progress.
