hey there
I recently joined Twitter and wanted something to help grow my followers.
It also occurred to me that the Twitter banner is a very prominent space that could be more fun.
So I came up a script that listens for my new followers, creates a nice image that thanks that user and uploads to twitter.
Added an image of what it looks like. Or you can see it working on my Twitter profile. https://twitter.com/JamesARob1
If this was easy to setup (via simple web app) would you have a banner like this on your twitter profile?
People on Twitter generally love the idea and i've have had a nice bump in high quality followers since added.
One bit of feedback so far is thats its a bit gimmicky which is very fair.
It also occurs to me the idea of dynamically updating Twitter header images could be useful in other ways. e.g step count for fitness accountability or MRR for indiehackers spring to mind
