Made my First Sale after 1 hour of launching: Feels Incredible! 🥳
I released an e-book for transitioning Engineering Leaders this morning to the public and made my FIRST Sale an hour later!!
It's about taking control of my 90 days. It was what got me from a Developer to a Senior Engineering Leader. I used this exact playbook as part of every team I led and achieved amazing results over the years.

Here are my Learnings:
- I first created an Email Course with close to 300 subscribers and received 10 testimonials.
- I got feedback that people would love it in text format over the video, so I tweaked it as an e-book.
- I also reviewed the analytics and saw that there was only a 20% view rate for the last 2 videos, which made me realize that it wasn't a good lead magnet to begin with.
- This type of content is better suited for an e-book and makes me believe it more after I converted the course into an e-book.
Leadership audience doesn't like watching but more reading.
Experiment
I'll share my learnings again after a week or two to see how successful the creation of an e-book is.
