MadeOnSol Month 3: $196 MRR, profitable, and the data is getting serious

Hey everyone, month 3 update on MadeOnSol — a Solana trading intelligence platform I'm building solo. We hit profitability this month.

Revenue

$196 MRR from 4 Pro subscribers at $49/month each, all paying in USDC on Solana. No Stripe, no credit cards — wallet connect and pay. Total infrastructure costs are ~$144/month, so we're now cash flow positive.

Went from 0 → 1 → 2 → 4 paying users over the last 6 weeks. No sales calls, no outbound. They all found us organically through search engines and AI citations.

Platform stats

The data pipeline has grown massively:

- 1.1 million+ buyer records indexed

- 161,000+ human wallets indexed

- 17,000+ Pump.fun deployers profiled and scored

- 1,000 KOL wallets tracked in real-time

- 22,000+ API calls (was 1,100 last month)

- 45 registered developers (was 21 last month)

We monitor every swap across 11 DEX programs on Solana in real-time using dual gRPC streams from validators in Frankfurt and New York. Detection latency is under 3 seconds.

New features shipped this month

- Wallet Tracker — users track custom wallets (Free: 10, Pro: 50, Ultra: 100) with real-time alerts

- DEX Firehose — WebSocket stream of every swap across 11 DEXes with server-side filtering by token, wallet, DEX, minimum SOL, action type, and deployer tier

- Chrome extension in development — contextual KOL and deployer data overlaid on Pump.fun, Axiom, GMGN, Dexscreener

- Alpha Wallet Scoring — 47,000+ wallets scored by early-buyer performance on Pump.fun tokens

- Full security audit and code quality refactor

- Added LetsBonk and Bags.app as new DEX programs (9 → 11)

- Annual pricing option (2 months free)

SEO & AI search

This is where it gets wild:

- Google indexed pages: 9 → 7,652 (94% of sitemap)

- Bing AI citations: 3,400+ across 19 pages

- ChatGPT is now sending us click-through traffic

- DuckDuckGo is our 2nd biggest referrer

- Domain Rating: 3.4 (50 backlinks, 37 referring domains)

- Google impressions: 9,660

The AI citation growth went vertical in mid-April. We didn't optimize for AI search at all — we just wrote detailed, honest content about every Solana tool and the AI engines decided we're a reliable source.

I genuinely believe AI search optimization (AIO?) is going to be a bigger deal than traditional SEO within the next year. If you're building content, make it structured, detailed, and genuinely useful — AI will find you.

Traffic

- 1,420 unique visitors last 7 days (+190%)

- 3,180 page views

- Referrers: Bing 26%, DuckDuckGo 19%, X/Twitter 13%, Reddit 12%, BetaList 10%, Google 5%, ChatGPT 2%

- Countries: US 22%, Vietnam 8% (scrapers — we added Cloudflare firewall rules), Germany 5%, Belgium 4%

We had a scraper problem from Asian residential proxies that inflated our bounce rate to 91%. Built Cloudflare firewall rules to challenge traffic from Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, and Indonesia without a search engine referrer. Bounce rate is recovering.

Infrastructure

Running everything on a single dedicated Hetzner server:

- Intel Xeon E-2176G (6 cores / 12 threads)

- 64GB ECC RAM

- 2x 960GB NVMe in RAID1

- 2x 1.92TB SATA SSD in RAID1

- About €100/month

Plus ~€30/month for gRPC validator nodes. Total: ~€132/month (~$144).

This server can handle 500-1,000 active API users before needing to scale. By the time we need a second server, revenue will more than cover it.

Ran a full security audit this month: found 2 critical issues (missing RLS on payment tables, SSRF in webhook delivery), both fixed same day. Plus dependency updates, React hook fixes, and code quality refactoring.

What's working

1. Programmatic SEO at scale — 7,652 indexed pages means 7,652 chances for someone to find us on Google. Long-tail keywords that nobody else targets.

2. AI search is free distribution — 3,400 citations without trying. This compounds.

3. Free tier drives paid conversions — developers start with 200 calls/day, build something real, then upgrade to Pro.

4. USDC payments remove friction — crypto users don't want to enter credit card details. Wallet connect + pay in 10 seconds.

5. Data moat deepens every day — 1.1 million buyer records and 180 days of KOL history. A competitor starting today can't replicate this overnight.

What's next

- Chrome extension launch — overlay KOL and deployer data on trading sites

- Alpha Wallet Scoring API endpoint — POST any wallet, get a score based on early-buyer performance

- Annual pricing to reduce churn

- Blog content targeting "solana grpc stream" and "solana dex api" keywords

- RPC provider marketplace submissions (QuickNode, Helius)

- Smart Money Dashboard — paid website subscription for non-developers (broader audience than API)
