Hi 👋 What do you recommend for marketing emails, newsletters, etc, in 2020? Any good alternative to Mailchimp?
I really happily use ConvertKit for everything for https://twitter.com/bytesizedcode — weekly broadcasts for our newsletter, but also long-term "evergreen" sequences (wrote about them here) that allow me to stay in touch with subscribers without having to write weekly emails. When I was using Mailchimp years ago, they didn't have this feature, but they may have it now — by now I'm happily using ConvertKit and don't have any plans to move back to anything else.
I'd give MailerLite and Sendfox a try.
If you need a cleaner and good deliverability option. Try Substack. I'm currently running a series, keen to hear your feedback. @matijam
I've been using Mailerlite for a while, never had any problems with it.
Thanks, will check it out.
Here are 15 alternatives for 2023, divided into per email pricing, and per contact pricing.

A few months ago, I moved Product Disrupt Newsletter from MailChimp to Mailblast because I wanted to save on money and wanted something simple that worked for newsletters. I've been very happy with it so far. It doesn't allow for any marketing automation but I don't need it anyway, so it's great.
Thanks, I'll check it out.
Did you notice any differences? Such as open rates, mails going to spam, etc?
Nah, it's doing fine. The emails are landing in their inboxes.
