mails.wtf - Find Anyone's email for free
Hi Everyone,
I just relaunched the landing page of my email finder side project.
https://mails.wtf
Now anyone can find emails straight from the landing page without any need to sign-up.
This tool makes sense for people in Sales and Business Development, as they often require to find email leads.
Looking for feedback.
How's it work? It's saying I'm "allen@stripe.com" but my Stripe email actually uses my first name, not my last.
Maybe it's MVP, measuring if people try to use it, but it doesn't actually work beyond randomly combining first and/or last name with domain? :)

Unfortunately both the queries I tried didn't work.
Maybe this is "trade secret" sort of stuff, but it would be nice if your site explained why certain sites fail, what categories of sites do work, etc.
For reference, I tried finding myself on https://tyler.church/ and then I searched for someone I know who works at https://hssaz.org/ , neither produced any results.
I think this is great! Show value immediately and then pitch paid accounts.

Cool idea. I agree with others that it would be nice if you explained how this worked, or if that is literally your secret sauce, then explain which types of sites might fail.
I just tried two queries and neither worked. On that note, maybe you should let people submit their emails to your service in case they want to be contacted. For example, our site is https://reflect.run but since we're small and starting out, you probably don't have our emails.

I tried ten or twelve queries with 4-5 different domains and was unable to get any results. I'm curious if you're just scanning the site for mailto: links and if the emails aren't structured in that way, no results are given?
can you tell me a name-domain pair that you used to find a particular email?
For example, Gil Gildner at discosloth.com doesn't bring up any results.

Hey, I just tried but couldn't grab an email. I tried a colleague (Rory Jeffries - and domain: www.matchaworks.co.uk) Is that correct? I know his email to be rory@matchaworks.co.uk
Seems like you found a bug for me, I wasn't handling domains with www yet, have fixed that now, you should be able to find your friend's email :)

What exactly would be the point of service selling email addresses if you would need to know the email address in advance? :) :)
Soo... you enter first name, last name and domain, and it gives you back the person's email address.
That's what I thought but tried like ten different combos and nothing returned so I thought I did something wrong.
Ah got it. Well, seems that it doesn't work for anybody else either..
That's what i call "go for the kill" website. No foreplay, straight on value prop. Great job!
One problem though. The contrast in form input field placeholders is extremely low and you don't have labels.
