Morse code is one of those communication systems that looks simple at first, but becoming comfortable with it takes practice. Memorizing the alphabet is only the beginning; recognizing patterns quickly and understanding the timing between dots and dashes are what make real communication possible.
I’ve been working on a web-based Morse Code Translator with the goal of making that process more accessible. It supports converting regular text into Morse code as well as decoding Morse code back into readable text, so it can be used for both quick translations and practice.
One thing I like about browser-based tools is that there’s no complicated setup. You can experiment with different words and messages, check your results, and use the tool whenever you want to practice.
The project is available here: "https://morsecodetranslatr.com/. What features helped you most when learning—audio practice, speed controls, quizzes, decoding exercises, or something else?
