Making Software You're Happy With

I've gone through the stages of entrepreneurialism:

1. Build something that solves your own problem
2. Build something that solves problems for a large market
3. Build something that can get funded

And now, I'm happy to be on a fourth stage: Build something that makes you happy.

I really have no idea if Perligo will ever make money or get used by a massive amount of people. It's still way too early to tell. But I use it every day and it legitimately makes me happy to use. I think there's value in that even if the app doesn't get strong traction.
