I've signed up for monthly coaching calls to transition from hobbyist to successful founder. Do you have any tips for making the most out of this investment?
I've signed up for Justin Jackson's ( https://justinjackson.ca/ ) monthly coaching calls and I'm sure he'll do a great job of guiding my efforts towards success, but I want to make sure I'm not squandering his valuable time.
Background: I'm a software developer, contracting by day, working on http://schemaexplorer.io/ by night, mostly failing to market it.
It's an one hour call every month plus some extra support and resources.
I guess at the very least I would list what I want to get out of this, i.e. an itemized list of concrete, relevant and attainable goals. Also, an one hour call every month isn't super much for coaching so I would try to keep things realistic.
Do keep us updated on your progress.
Is he the kind of coach that would help you set and clarify your goals or you come with goals and he is more of an advisor?
