MAMP + PHP 500 Server Error: WTF?

I'm developing a web based app, working on a localhost, and all is well, then BOOM, an hour in, MAMP starts throwing 500 internal server errors.

Yes, I did all the resets, restarts, updates and cache clears.

I'm all over the internet and can't seem to find any solution, or even reason why. Im guessing it's the amount of requests as I am testing the code.

Any direction, resources or ideas for a solution would be appreciated.

Cheers!

If you are actively working on the code right now, a 500 would mean “Apache does not know how to interpret this piece of PHP and gave up”. In that case, check your code for possible errors. Maybe revert your most recent changes.

Additionally, you can check your error logs for the last thing Apache was able to do. There might be some extra information in there about what line of code it has a problem with.
