Managing project info & dashboards
Hey everyone,
I manage several different small web side-projects, mostly my own and a few clients. And am planning on launching a few more soon. Mostly Gatsby sites & React apps.
I've struggled to find an easy low-overhead (and low-cost) way to manage these project's key details and view metrics about them at a glance.
Does anyone know of great tool(s) to do this?
There are two key areas here:

Storing projects details like; GitHub repo, where it's hosted, CI system used, URLs for different environments etc.

Being able to quickly view key metrics of projects without having to login; Google Analytics pageviews,
The closest I've found for the metrics is https://www.cyfe.com/ and best for managing details is either simply in a README.md file or Notion.
I found CYFE a bit pricey for my needs (20+ small websites) at $89 /month - and their integrations didn't work exactly as I wanted when I tested.

Hey @krister, I haven't yet! The best ideas I've had are either to use Notion, or to hack together an app to do exactly this.

You can send any kind of metrics there and it's free. You can also put up version numbers of stuff, basically even text.
I barely have any users because competition here is tough. So I'd not suggest starting a new product in this space especially since the backend takes a lot of time to get performance right.
Looks cool, I can imagine that competition is high. There might be opportunity in the lower pricing brackets - but I guess that's not going to generate enough revenue.
I'd happily pay $10-$15 per month for a really easy way to aggregate basic data points for 10-20 Google Analytics accounts + Amplitude accounts into one place.
I've now started using Notion to track projects which is working well, and for analytics aggregation I'm looking at using a Chrome add-on to pull data into Google Sheets: https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/google_analytics/477988381226 and then this Notion Charts thing to pull the data into Notion: https://www.notion.vip/charts/
