March 2021 Income Report: $1,612.79 (-54.56%)

This month was half last month's side project earnings. Here's are summary of things that were different about this month:

  • didn't do much promotion (no new blog posts, videos, etc)
  • fixed a couple SEO issues
  • focused on other projects (Twitter Stripe MRR, TypeScript course)

Here's a breakdown of my side income:

  • $100.00 from Product/Tool Feedback
  • $181.79 from @egghead-io royalties
  • $756.00 from Vim for VSCode course sales (before fees)
  • $500.00 UI.dev talk
  • $75.00 GitHub user study

Total: $1,612.79

Total (year-to-date): $5,467.58

Thanks for sharing. What is hidden under position "GitHub user study"?

    1. 2

Nothing hidden! I can't remember where I signed up, but someone from GitHub reached out to have me do a user study about a redesign of current feature and they paid me $75 for it.

You're doing well as long as it's a higher low.

    Nothing just goes straight up.

      I won't! Thanks, Alex!
