Market crowded

Hello folks!

I started to work on a side-project related to an issue I have in my current work. I started to discuss with others employees from others companies to see if there is a real problem. After discussing with them I definitely concluded it is a big pain.
So I started two weeks ago to develop a solution. And at the same time, I noticed multiple companies doing the same thing I plan to do, based on their website.
One of them has been accepted to YC.

My question is pretty simple, shoud I still carry on my project or should I pivot in an area where there will be fewer competitors? I don't plan to raise fund I want to bootstrap it.

ps: while it is a real issue, I don't know yet if people would be ready to pay for it
