Market research survey: Managing Admin for freelancers, self employed professional or agencies.

I want to understand how freelancers and self-employed folks go about their business of managing projects, how it makes you feel and what tools you use to enhance productivity and reduce time spent on admin. I personally find it all pretty painful but I'd love more feedback.
