Marketers! Please help me to validate my startup idea
I'm building this project that generates creative social media posts in seconds for almost all social media platforms.
Product generates creative post media, with captions & hashtags, etc based on the prompt given, with option given to customize it further if needed.
Company branding and other details can be pre set before generating the posts.
I need feedback from indiehackers community specifically those who are into marketing.

Isn’t that a good sign, that means this problem is genuine and people are ready to pay in order to solve it.
Now I just have to figure out my USP.
Hey @azfarahmed I believe there's room in the market for your idea - it's all going to come down to the specific problem your product solves better than other solutions in market. People will pay for a product if it saves them time, money and effort.

Any designer worth their salt can set up a figma file where you change copy and upload a new image. Plus, it's free.
Canva is taylor-made for this kinda stuff, too.
The market for this is saturated quite a bit with a lot of big players already in place.
I guess you are getting wrong Bran, idea is related to Auto social media post generator using AI, which generates post that includes image banners, captions, hashtags, etc and also schedules & posts to respective social media platforms automatically. With just a click you can generate and set month long posts for multiple clients.
Regarding canva guess you have mistaken, what I meant is that post banners can be created and edited just like canva style editor with multiple edit options and templates.
Please let me know if you have any further clarification.
I am not a marketer but I will anyway leave this message for you. I have recently finished reading a classic book The Mom Test by Rob Fitzpatrick. This book is all about customer learning validation. One of the powerful concepts taught in that book is, you should not mention your idea to your prospect when trying to validate. The reason is, it introduces bias. People are nice (unless on random Reddit subs) so they tend to give sugarcoated opinions. To make matters worse, we crave to hear positive opinions. Opinions mean nothing unless it is coming from some veteran of the industry or another founder who has been there and done that. Instead, you can ask questions that are fact-based and probe about your prospect's life. I strongly recommend you read that book while you try to validate your idea and before investing a lot of your time.
Nice suggestion, I was very desperate to hear opinions from indie hackers community. I before I asked here I validated the problem personally with digital marketers, most tend to have same problem and existing tool’s didn’t solve their problem completely hence I want to help to solve the problem with my product.

I don't want to be this guy... but hasn't this been done a ton of times? If what I'm thinking has, then it's probably validated. See if you can find out their revenue numbers or just get a feel for how many users your competitors have.
I know Banner Bear is or was an open startup. If that's what you are describing look at their product and see what makes you different/better.
I'd start with one Social Media platform. If you can get one right that is a huge accomplishment (most don't).
Yes guess you are right. I have used banner bear before, basically they give options to dynamically customize the template with limited features in the design, I am trying to accomplish more advanced design options like Canva, with inbuilt AI content generator and other important tools, hashtags, captions, and also add scheduling to post automatically to social media.

I see but I mostly wanted to hear from, anyway I saw banner bear demo guess it works differently than me.
Its banner bear on steroids, more advanced and customizable like canva with built in automation and scheduling.
If there are competitors already successful selling this product, then yes it's validated.
If not - it's not.
Don't be a category creator - you don't have the resources to pull it off.
Yes I understand, but seems there are few competitors in the market but are too basic missing lot of critical features that are necessary as told by marketers.

I think it's a great suggestion to start small and focus on one social network at first, and then expand to others once you've perfected the process. Each social network has its own unique features and audience, so it may be challenging to generate content for all three at once. It's important to ensure that the posts generated by your product are optimized for each platform, including the use of hashtags, trending topics, media optimization, and other tips and tricks.

Every social media platform is insanely different. Which one are you talking about? I'm going to assume since you say "captions and hashtags" that you mean Instagram. But you do say "all social media platforms" so I really don't know what you mean.
I'm always looking for ways to post better content, not more content. it seems there is a huge amount of offers of apps to make more, or make it faster. But I don't need more and I don't need it faster. I need it to be effective.

I spoke to digital marketers about the problem and it seems everyone has this problem where they know what to post but will have to go canva and prepare the same repetitive task all over. I m trying to solve the problem with bit more automation
