Marketing a niche jobs board

Hi, Have seen there are quite a few people working on niche jobs boards on here. I wanted to ask how you've been going about attracting visitors, e.g. are there any particular communities, sites or places you've been actively promoting your site?

I've just launched https://www.findrewardingjobs.co.uk and currently working on getting it out there but wondered if there were any tricks I'm missing!

I've been focusing on Twitter over the past few months and have found decent growth there targeting front end developers looking for work.

I also have one blog post that ranks pretty highly and attracts new users every month. I need to find more time to write :)

Sounds good, out of interest how do you find front end developers looking for work, is it just by searching or finding people that post they are actively looking?

Definitely need to get started on content marketing, writing's not my strong point though and I'm easily distracted! Thanks for the great tips!

I have a few saved searches for phrases like "looking front end developer". I check every few days and reply to anyone saying they are looking for a new job. Sometimes I retweet their posts as well.

Hey Maurice! I just launched https://thestartupladder.com and have found some success with Linkedin to connect with your target users (in my case, it's college seniors and recent grads). It takes a bit of work, but it helps gain some initial traction/visitors!

Nice looking site, did you do nocsok.com as well as looks very similar style? Have been using Linkedin to speak to people about posting jobs but hadn't thought of using it to attract visitors. Are you doing manual cold outreach on there or using any of their advertising/prospecting products?
