Marketing/analytics tools for web app MVP

Hi,

Do you have any tools which you add to your new web apps? I use:

  • crisp - chat to talk with visitors/users
  • Google Analytics
  • smartlook - users recording, I can see users' behavior on my sites, notice any issues
  • Rollbar - bugs monitoring, I use ruby on rails, so I would know if there is any bug at the app

All of the above tools have freemium plans, which are enough for the new apps. Do you have any other web tools on your stack?

We are developing tractific.com to make the process easier with AI-powered solutions.

    Are you happy with smartlook?

Smartlook is okay. I used to use Hotjar but Smartlook is cheaper.

We use https://logrocket.com - same idea as smartlook probably - has freemium. https://circleci.com for deploying - also has freemium. And hosted by AWS S3 - free tier.

I started using Crisp, but it was a little expensing for our early-stage startup... so I decided to give a try to other tool called Customerly, and I'm pretty happy with it. It also provides email marketing, funnels, surveys, NPS and other cool stuff. From Crisp, I just miss the option to see who users are connected realtime and the ability to start a conversation without waiting for them to do it.

I'm also starting to use amplitude to see user's behaviour, but instead of recording the screen, triggering some events that I can analyze later. I don't really know how to use it right, but at least I can see some metrics.
