Marketing guy told me the video needs to autoplay at the top instead of having the demo at the top. What do you think?

From a UX perspective, auto-playing videos is a bad practice. You can make the video and play button more prominent this way you will also have some data on how many people actually decide to play it.
Otherwise, you could try something hybrid like what www.arcstudiopro.com is doing and definitely keep it mute.
I would say - it depends. I also have a video auto playing on my landing, and btw, I am a video editor app. So yeah, I would say it makes perfect sense to auto-play.
Major desktop browsers right now do not auto-play media with audio anyway.
Right now your video at cinematicstudio.app does not autoplay on Chrome and Firefox because the audio is on!

I hate the stupidity of Chrome/Firefox - normally, they should play the f*cking video, because I told it to (even if it turns off the audio).
And it's so stupid, 'cause when testing on my machine, it auto plays.
I will need to test a bit more, apparently.
I think it's a good practice from browsers to disable audio by default, it was abused by Ads.
It's fine disabling audio. Not playing when I tell it to play - that is just stupid on their part.
It's risk averse from a Browser's perspective, in the sense that it treats the end user experience as a priority. Not "just stupid", but a reasonable position for them to take.
So, there's an API - which turns on auto-play. IT'S NOT ON BY DEFAULT.
Let me repeat that: "there's an API that allows you to do that. F*cking Google wrote it."
So why would you, as a browser, not honor that API?

I do agree that it's been really taken advantage of by ads, but I still think for landing pages, it's a cool idea.
Having said that, I really hate how every browser makes it insanely hard to do just that (even if it's auto playing with sound being mute), and how every few months I need to rewrite my code because Google decides to change/update their API.
Thank you! Yeah, I read that basically all browsers require you to mute if you're going to autoplay, so that's what I'm doing now.
What you currently have is great, I wouldn't change it. Really cool product!
I am an engineer and not a marketer. I much prefer the demo on top. But I wouldn’t discount what your advisor is saying.
I ended up skipping the video and scrolling down to the demo and am pretty excited to pick this up for my baby!

I would make sure that you take advice from a marketing person that you trust. The entire point of advisors is that you work with one who has more area expertise than yourself, and will give you advice that you wouldn't think to do yourself; otherwise, you're just looking to surround yourself with yes men.
From a PR standpoint, I wholeheartedly disagree with autoplay, period. You might want to read a few words in a synopsis, but to put a video on autoplay is intrusive. Let a person decide when they want to watch it.
In a layout, I would do a one-sentence power tease, followed by the non-auto-play video. I hope this helps.
OMG babies playing with logic gates! Exclusive Or is next level !! hahaha I can see a whole series of these - I wonder if saying "for babies" might limit the sales though, like if your five year old can read but doesn't know about basic logic it might be an issue if they think its "for babies" having said that you can do a series for kids that ups the game a bit. I can't even imagine how you found the right people to build this for you!!
Dont auto-start it, you dont have to, the opening frame shows a baby pushing a button, you have to play that to see what happens!
Thanks that's good advice. I'm glad you like it! Yeah, other people have suggested the same thing, that it might limit the audience. I am considering maybe changing the title, but also I feel like "for babies" has a clickbait factor that "for kids" doesn't really have, so I'm back and forth on this one.
I think it really depends. Personally, when something autoplays like that on a website, the first thought that comes to mind are those scam webinars 😅😅. But I think that if you make the video into a story, (including text, and voice) it can really make the difference.
Like, sort of like a mini documentary telling the story of how you came up with the idea.
Auto play with mute is better option too.

Anyway. Video explains who it's for very clearly. Demo explains the depth of the product. I'd say how it is now is very good (video first).

Yes, I do think it makes a lot of sense to have the video at the top + autoplay.
I love autoplaying demo video.
But I do recommend mute.
