Marketing ideas for my web platform

Hi IH,

I've been working on Crowdsourcer.io for a few years now and it's been out in the open gathering some feedback for a while, and though it's mostly been incredibly positive, it's just not taken off as much as I'd have hoped. This is mostly my fault. I'm rubbish at marketing and hate putting myself out there. Don't ask me why - it's something deep down in my psyche hah! I've done lots of posting around in relevant forums, and though it works, gradually people get tired of me posting the site. Hopefully, soon we'll have our first success story which will be a great thing to yell about, but until then, I'm all out of ideas.

With that, has anyone got some good ideas for marketing this thing? What's worked for you, what hasn't etc. I've been juggling up using a service like https://www.howler.media to do press releases for me as it's cheap, but have no idea if it'll actually work. I'm literally looking for anything that's relatively cheap that I can do alongside development.

I'll greatly appreciate any tips.
