In targeting a niche audience, press, and influencers are much easier to access. You also get a more passionate audience. Let's go through it:
Audience
If you're serving a niche it's more than likely that someone has already built your audience for you. You’ve just got to find where they hang out ...
For example, Wes Bos' Learn Node course was gobbled up by the Node subreddit. (118k subscribers)
Press
There’s going to be some hardcore bloggers out there who’s full time job is to write about your niche. And unlike mass market journalists, niche journalists actually want you to email them.
Influencers
In any niche market influencers are pretty well defined and easy to get in contact with. Just think of the boosted board and Casey Neistat. Casey reviews every one for free sharing to his millions of subscribers.
Hardcore fans
Niches are full of passionate fans. And the more passionate your audience the more likely they will help share your product around. Simple!
