I've been building on my mobile app for freelancers for a while now, and only recently started to understand the importance of a good customer acquisition strategy.
V1 of the app has been available for a few months now, and it's no surprise that user adoption has been slim to none.
So over the next 2 weeks, I'm "laying down the coding keyboard", and spending some dedicated time on how I should be attracting freelancers to try (and then subscribe) to the app.
So far, I've outlines some principals:

I only have an average of an hour a day total for all my indie hacking activities, so I'm super conflicted on where I should be spending my time.
Better Website / Blog posts / Free online tools / newsletter / direct sales / paid advertising / community involvement - so many options my brain is hurting :P
If this were your app - what would your strategy be / where would you start?
Which option do you think will have the fastest result?
I'm in the process of trying to figure that out... unfortunately I don't think there's a "do this one easy thing to get a ton of users" fix.

yeah - I think search (SEO) + a really good message targeting value for potential customers looks like a good place to start.
