Marketplace for entrepreneurs and marketers

Hi! Is there anybody to roast my site a little bit?

Here it is: goodilla.com

The front page should explain the idea for both sides of users (because this is a marketplace for entrepreneurs and marketers)

Thanks a lot :)

Hey bmg. I think this site works functionally - i.e. it kinda explains what the thing is. What it doesn't do is sell the idea.

First off, I'm confused about why there's a gorilla for the logo. This cartoon image is on top of a very glossy Mac (M1?) photo, that looks like it's been borrowed from an Apple website. Btw, "looking" is mis-spelled.

The next section breaks that style completely and we're looking at categories with cartoon icons. But you haven't sold me anything yet. So I'm in the product before I understand why I might want to be. Anyway, moving on...

I like that you've considered the method from both sides, although I suspect both entrepreneurs and marketers know how to request a job and make/pay money. This probably doesn't need elaborating.

So we know it's a marketplace for startups and marketeers. What makes it different to, say, Fiverr? Are you specialising in a certain area? Do you have a killer feature? What's your USP?

The site has no social proof. Who is using it? Do you have any testimonials (real ones, perhaps from people who've tested it for you)?

Instead of the single pricing column, I'd just have a statement that says "Goodilla is in beta. All jobs and ads are free up until the product is fully released.". Maybe the prospect of free advertising and free connections is the thing you emphasise while you build up users, get feedback, and earn some testimonials.

    Good luck!
