Marketplace for small business & SaaS?
I've always wondered why there wasn't a marketplace out there, for selling local businesses. I say "small business" to refer to local businesses, but the size doesn't matter.
I know there are some marketplaces for SaaS products, or selling blogs, ecomm sites, but there doesn't seem to be a popular marketplace that lets you sell a local business.
Could this be, because there's so many steps and processes to even inquire about buying a local business?
I guess it would vary country to country, state to state, city to city.
There is one for me locally (UK), I've set it up to email me alerts for local businesses. I can't remember the name off the top of my head, it's a really boring name, but there's plenty of listings on it (for businesses I really don't want to own!).
