Marketplace of photo editors (real people)

5 years ago, I created an application in Ruby on Rails which was a Marketplace for Photo Editors (real people editing photos).

One could upload photos and ask for edits.
They could also specify a budget and the expected date they wanted it back.

Had to shut it down because nobody used it - mostly because I did not market it.

Today I remembered it and thought of asking you guys whether the idea was a thumbs_up or thumbs_down ?

Your application is good, well, it is outdated in terms of functionality. I use this site https://create.vista.com/colors/color-names/lime-green/. Here is a very convenient functionality to handle even a beginner in editing. There are also a lot of finished works if you yourself are too lazy to invent something. I use this site to create a poster for my store.

That's actually an amazing idea! Why isn't it a reality yet? I'm not really an artistic person myself, but I can recognize and actually really love creative ideas. Kind of wishing I could also have a creative side myself. Do you know that trend of colorizing black and white old pictures? I really wanted to give that a try cause I have lots of vintage pictures from my great grandparents to this day. I could really be able to tell a story with them, but I struggled to find the colors to bring them to life. My biggest discovery during quarantine was an Image Colorizer https://imagecolorizer.com that does all of that for me, and I was just left with having to tell the story.
