Hi everyone I'm hoping you can help!
We are building a marketplace in react and we are doing well but I'm struggling to find a way we can achieve this:
A potential seller needs to fill out a form showing they have the expertise to offer their service, once the form is submitted we wanted to grab that information and store it in firebase (and maybe a headless CMS?) This info will be part of their public profile if accepted which we will grab from firebase and show on the front-end profile, We need to check the answers from the form and if good we publish the listing.
I know we can build the form from scratch and then build logic to publish their listing but I wanted to see if there is a better way of accomplishing this?
Thanks hope you can help
If you don't wanna create it all from scratch i'd suggest you to give reactioncommerce a try ( https://github.com/reactioncommerce/reaction ) they have a marketplace integration
thanks I looked into reaction commerce but a lot of people have said its not easy to use and they have had problems even setting it up, i know mailchimp has acquired them but its a shame their docs and youtube chanel have not been updated in months
It looks to me like you'll be having this problem with many components. This is why many people recommend to use Rails/Django, it's all built-in so you don't have to communicate with headless CMEses/various databases etc.
It sounds great but we are using react, that's the problem we have
Unless you need client side rendering I highly recommend django or rails.
