Marvy - my first SaaS product!

Happy 2022! I hope you’re all off to a strong start to the year!
I’m a total noob new to building in public and to Indie Hackers but my co-founder and I are excited to get rolling on Marvy.
As a product manager, I’ve felt the pain of the problem we’re solving but our first phase is talking to potential customers here on IH and also on Twitter/Linkedin/Reddit. I just listened to The Mom Test on a road trip and I’m ready to go!
I’ll report back with any lessons I learned along the way of cold messaging folks for convos. Another goal is to grow our beta subscriber list to 20 by the end of this month.
In parallel, I've been thinking about how I can be helpful to the community aside from sharing learnings here and on Twitter.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on these two ideas:
- I have a lot of experience and opinions on giving good software demos. I was thinking of posting availability to book time with me where I just give you feedback on your demo via Zoom.
- I could record Loom videos of my feedback on your landing page for anyone interested.
Which should I do?

Hi Rishi, best wishes to your product.
I have some doubt with Marvy.
I totally get what problem attempts to solve and I've been there working on my product.
My doubt is that screencasts will discourage many users from sharing the feedback. It might get more personalized and more detailed, but I am of the opinion (might be wrong) that the majority of users will not opt for it. Do you have any data to back it up? Or even some testimonials that users will opt for it?

I think you've nailed one of our biggest risks - that users won't record their feedback.
Our top priority is testing our hypothesis that if we make it super duper easy (like a couple clicks with nothing to download), that users will record.
We are still so early and don't yet have any data to suggest they will, but we will see!
At the very least, it will be a fun experiment that we'll learn a lot from.

So, I would add the recorded feedback right on your website. Now it has nothing and not clear how it works.
Thanks for sharing! Just to be clear, the ideas were not related to the Marvy product or landing page, just a couple random ideas on how I could personally help others. Sorry for being confusing!
