Masterminds and Standups: What do you LIKE about them?

Okay as the other side of my previous question, if you have experienced them, why do you LIKE daily standups and masterminds.

When I was working on teams, I valued standups because they forced me to think about what I was working on for the day, prioritize and then be accountable to my peers. I was also energized each morning by having to articulate my thoughts to my team.

I've participated in two mastermind groups. I found masterminds useful because they gave me space to more deeply think about my business and problems before I approached the group. The feedback from other members of the mastermind groups was also useful, especially if they had experience with a problem that I was trying to solve.

I've been working on a project for the past few months with two other partners. We have designated work hours each day (none of us are in this full-time) and almost always discuss, at the end of each day, the progress made. What you mentioned is totally relatable. But accountability has been the most important takeaway from this for me. I have a tendency to slack but can get stuff done in one sitting. Also a solopreneur so this is a welcome change too!
