Birdy will then automatically update your profile at regular intervals by alternating between versions A and B, tracking which converts to more followers and website clicks.

I'm curious how reliable this A/B split testing method is. Do you have any research/idea on how it compares to the "traditional" A/B split testing method where you test things "at once"?

  There are some limitations with the Twitter API that are preventing me to test "parallel" versions.
  
  This makes the results less accurate, which simply means you need to let the test run a little bit longer than usual to get statistically significant results.
  
  I'm continually testing my profile and I have had great results so far, often able to identify a clear winner after a week or so.
