Hey everyone! I’ve just launched a new Slack app that helps teams stay organized by tagging messages directly inside Slack. Tag any message and return anytime
what you think about soc2?
Thanks for reaching out!
Tagger is a Slack app/extension, so it runs within Slack and relies on Slack’s built-in security controls for auth and access management. That means we inherit
SOC2 from Slack as well
On our side, we keep data to make the product work, specifically:
User configuration
Tag history — message metadata only (e.g., message ID, channel ID, timestamps, who tagged, tag value). We do not store message text/content.
Workspace metadata (workspace/team identifiers and basic app-install context)
