May 2021 Income Report: $1,104.40 (-23.85%)

We are trending downwards 😅 But hoping to turn that around once I get my TypeScript course out and focus a bit more on writing content to drive organic traffic for Vim for VSCode.

Here's are summary of things that were different about this month:

  • less tweets? (10% less over last 28 days)
  • still focused on TypeScript course
  • also experimenting with paid accountability groups, maybe as SaaS

Here's a breakdown of my side income:

  • $237.76 from @egghead-io royalties
  • $700.00 from Vim for VSCode course sales (before fees) on Convert Kit Commerce
  • $66.64 from Vim for VSCode course sales (before fees) on Flurly
  • $100.00 from Stripe for user study on Payment Links

Total: $1,104.40

Total (year-to-date): $8,022.28
