MBA Grad Seeking Guidance

Hey IH community

I’m a postgraduate (MBA, class of 2022) and jumped into the startup world right after college. Since then, I’ve been working closely with a Product Manager at an early-stage company — my starting salary was just $205/month (INR 17,000). Despite the low pay, I saw it as an opportunity to learn, and I’ve grown a lot.

Over the last year and a half, I’ve equipped myself with hands-on skills in:

• Requirement gathering & documentation (BRDs, FRDs)

• Agile methodologies & Scrum board usage

• SDLC understanding from end to end

• Collaborating across Dev, QA, and Product teams

• Writing test cases & assisting in manual testing

Now, I’m actively exploring my next career move. I'm looking for:

• Business Analyst or Product Analyst roles in India (remote or hybrid)

• Suggestions on how to craft a standout resume

• Guidance from people who’ve been in this transition — maybe from startups to mid or large companies
