Hey Ben! I am happy to help you get started hosting a meetup in Austin if you would like to do that. It is a great way to meet people when you have moved to a new city.
You just missed our Austin meetup this month it was at the beginning of the month but I am sure they have plans for more. I try to get a few different meetup founders in each city so there are more like 2-3 events per month in each city.
Right now, we have @buddhs, @sales4nerds, @micimize, @genfurukawa, @eugenevillarreal,@trag, and @Clocr all founding meetups in Austin. Austin will be a city with 2-4 events per month soon. I'm sure some others might share your vision. Good luck on meeting up in Austin soon!
Hi, all! Yesterday, I secured a free venue for our monthly IH Austin Meetups at Galvanize in downtown Austin. They are stoked to have us and the feeling is super mutual! November and December dates are forthcoming any day now. Stay tuned ✌🏼
