A tool that reads your calendar and analyzes how much time you spend in meetings. User can set a max of meeting time and get notifications if their scheduled meeting time is too high.
Microsoft Office (Outlook) already provides this, I believe its called "Insights." I get a weekly and monthly email telling me how I used my time, what % of time was in meetings, who my top collaborators were etc. Maybe something to look into before you dive too deep.
Okay, thanks for the info! I'm working in a G Suite bubble and wasn't aware of this Outlook feature.
Nevertheless, I think there is an opportunity if you look at it from a different angle. It could be to optimize team productivity.
Imagine a product team with PMs, Designers and Engineers. You could define roles and rules. For example for engineers there could be a max. time of weekly scheduled meeting time or a min. set of free time windows that are for coding. Managers could then look at the data to analyze their teams meeting culture.
For sure, it's not a bad idea and always room for improvement on the existing options. Just wanted to let you know what is out there! Good luck.
