Hey Jessica, did you try MemberPress? I'm about to give it a shot on a project and saw your post, figured that I would reach out.

No, I'm sorry. For the past few years, I have been using a different membership software and after chatting with MemberPress customer support I concluded it would be too complicated for me to migrate over to them. I'm just not tech savvy enough to do it. I may be able to in the future if I can find someone to help me.

But I have heard good things about MemberPress :)

        No worries!

I recently started building a site for my gated content and wanted to give MemberPress a run at tackling the heavy lifting of membership-specific functionality, so I was poking around IH to see if anyone else had made the leap. That's how I found your post and what led me to comment on your original post.

So far I'm kinda blown away by how well it works and how easy it has been to configure. However, I'm a UI engineer with two decades of experience in the space, so my ease-of-use isn't a fair comparison. You can accomplish a lot with MemberPress out-of-the-box without digging too deep in code. I'm not using the payment features at the moment, or anything complex, just using it manage members and templating.

All-in-all, it probably would add a bit of technical debt to migrate data from one system to another, no doubt.

I know it's been a while but are you still using Memberpress? What are your thoughts now on it now?
