Membership Sign Up for your Notion content

During the past few weeks, I added a new capability to my micro-SaaS app that does basic Membership Management for Notion pages.

Here's a brief overview of how it works...

Membership Management for Notion pages

๐ŸŽฌ Scenario ๐ŸŽฌ

ยท You created some valuable content in Notion that you want to share.

๐Ÿ˜ฉ Problem ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

ยท You do not what to share the Notion link publicly, as this can easily be reshared or duplicated.
ยท You want to better control the access to your content and make it part of your website.
ยท You want to collect email addresses in exchange for access to your content.

๐Ÿ† Solution ๐Ÿ†

With Sotion it's easy to create a custom site from your Notion page + control access to the content:

  1. Connect your Notion page to your own Custom Domain ๐Ÿ”—
  2. Select if you want Password Protection or Email Signup ๐Ÿ”
  3. Share your Notion content via your own website ๐ŸŽ‰

โญ๏ธ How this helps โญ๏ธ

  • Prevent resharing of the direct Notion link. Host your Notion page at your own domain.
  • Email Signup. Collect email addresses when new members sign up to view your content.
  • Password Protection. Only members with the password can access your content.

๐Ÿ›  How it works ๐Ÿ›

โ†’ Custom Domain:
Your Notion page is linked to your custom domain by adding a DNS record.

โ†’ Membership Management:
To access your content, a new member has to

  1. Signup with an Email Address
They receive a Magic Link to log in. You receive an email with the details of the new member.

โŽฏ or โŽฏ

  1. Enter a Password
You configure a single password that is used to access your content.

๐Ÿš€ More Membership features coming soon ๐Ÿš€

  • Restricted Email List
Define who can access your Notion site with an email list (whitelist + blacklist)
  • User Management
Email address and password signup & login
  • Integrations
    Automatically add/remove members via Zapier/Webhooks
