Spent yesterday setting up Stripe, its Firebase integration, and the UI that will link to it. I still need to add tests and actually link the Stripe checkout to the front end.
Today I might get to linking/testing but might not because my tech interview is in 3 days. Might mean a hiatus until then.
That being said, I'm toying with the idea of not even giving the option of monthly billing. The idea is that the user won't even get prompted to pay until they hit the free limit because at that point I think that they like using the product.
The other thing I'm wondering about is what the correct storage limit should be. I doubt that users will get to 50GB any time soon (I'll compress and resize images) but at such a low cost I do think this might be an issue. Of course, I could also raise the price to $6 a month, I'm just not sure how sensitive consumers are to prices. I believe most consumer apps charge $50-$75 a year π€
Side note, the header links are temporary, I don't have a header yet :)
