Mesh-networking mobile

Heard of offline message app "bridgefy" and would like to know more about that, please. Would the Starlink satellite comparable to these type of network? And btw, do icloud/iphone location sharing able to use with family overseas? because when we tried it shows location not found, or the device is not sharing.
