📈 Metrics for a 1.5 month-old newsletter

This is the first time I'm taking a newsletter seriously. I don't know what good stats look like but I figured I'd share mine here.

Here are the stats for June on my newsletter English Byte (helping non-natives land remote dev jobs by improving their English).

• 334 total subscribers
  (+147 gained/-3 lost, 43.1% growth)

• 92 subs gained from Twitter

• 26 subs gained from LinkedIn

• 24 direct

• 5 via android

• 4 emails sent

• 18.7% avg. CTR

• 50.5% avg. open rate

• 915 impressions

I don't know how the numbers will change next month, but I do know one thing:

This is the most fun I've had with a side project in a long time :)

My plan is to continue studying copywriting and use that to figure out where my growth levers are.

I'm thinking Twitter/LinkedIn but I need data to back that up.

Which means I'll be running small experiments this month to test.
