Thanks for the heads up. I really like Discord, I hope they would go Public tbh. But, in case they were bought by MS, I'd like to point out the great job they did with Github. I was the most skeptical there and they proved that all they were doing with VS Code, TS and, Electron was a real shift and not just a temporary thing.
If this happens I hope MS takes it as a learning experience to improve Teams (which is a pain) and Skype for business (which is horrendous). Many devs, like me, hang out on Discord for work or gaming. We'll be watching closely and passing judgment!
Excellent parallel with the Github acquisition. I think MS will go that way.
I also feel satya nadella is among the top ceos today. He might not be as flashy as Musk or Bezos, but he is right up there.

Interesting move, regardless of whether they want to turn into a bigger player in Gaming industry, or polish Skype/MS Teams who have been horrendous for a good chunk of time
