We just hit 50+ active users on Lumoar—less than 10 days after launching!

Lumoar helps tech startups navigate SOC 2 compliance with ease. Our platform offers guided control checklists, a policy template generator, evidence management, and team collaboration tools, all designed to simplify the compliance process.

A few things that worked for us:

• Targeted outreach to early-stage startups in need of compliance solutions
• Sharing our journey and product updates on different platforms (X, Hacker News, Product Hunt, and others). The most effective one turned out to be Hacker News. Probably because our main target audience is startups and indie developers
• Offering a generous free tier to lower the barrier to entry
• Still early days, but this kind of momentum is a huge morale boost for the team. We’re already getting valuable feedback that's shaping our next sprint.
