I am thinking about building a tool to help growing your Twitter audience. Indeed, just like Hypefury, Zlappo etc.
My different angle is I want to focus on aspiring entrepreneur with an engineering background.
Because I want to build this product audience-driven, I set up a very basic landing page, leaving room for pivoting in many directions.
What do you think?

Hi Stephan,
I'm a developer selling a product and of course I'd love to grow my Twitter audience but I don't understand how a tool will help do that.
What do Hypefury and Zlappo really do for someone with few followers?
How would Throngalong help?
Hypefury and Zlappo both take care of some automation for your tweets. You can connect your Twitter account and schedule tweets for later and they can retweet your best stuff automatically to keep timeslots filled and keep the engagement going.
What I personally missed: they don't guide me in what to Tweet, I would like best-practices, tips etc to get me going.
What kind of product are you selling?
See Uclusion.
Can I actually get going myself or should I be finding an influencer to help?
The ultimate goal would be to become an influencer yourself in your target market.
People buy from people they trust.
I extended the landing page a little bit: https://www.throngalong.com
Does this resonate with you?
Just technical aspect of building a landing page - nobody wants to read until they know what you are about. You need to reduce all of those words to a very quick explanation of how you are going to help me.
Then you can have your words in linked blog section or in further detail sections or just increasingly wordy as we scroll down.
How you like it now? :-)
Still doesn't explain in enough detail:
You're going to have to automate searches in Twitter and tell me when and where to jump in right?
Since your audience is engineers you have to explain the whole thing.

As somebody that's likely in your target market, I want to understand the jist of how it works. What does it actually automate to grow your audience?
What’s your Twitter strategy at this point?
Are you actively working on building / growing your audience?
I don't have a Twitter presence. I'm still spending the majority of my time on development stuff and haven't done a lot to grow my audience.
I don't know if I'll be using Twitter actually, I've checked the Twitter profiles of similar products and they don't really get any attention so I'm thinking my effort could be put into better targeted channels. Most of my users right now come from the Slack directory: https://pickleproduct-o0j8005.slack.com/apps/A01LEUPU64T-pickle
I'm more leaning to writing some tangentially related articles and watching for related questions/threads on Reddit and the like
Hypefury's founder here.
Here are some rhetorical questions for you:
Are you sure you want to build a Twitter growth tool when you haven't growth your audience yet?
Are you sure you want to focus on such a specific niche (tech creators)?
Are you sure you want to focus on creators who are just starting out?
Know the answers and find your way. :)
Hey I think you replied to the wrong comment here. I'm not the OP ;)
That makes sense.
I assume you are aware that Reddit is a lot less tolerant regarding to promotion then Twitter?
How are you planning to approach your Reddit strategy?
Yep, completely aware. My approach to reddit will be to watch for threads/questions that contain similar keywords and answer where appropriate. I believe there are even tools that watch new reddit submissions for you
