Hey everyone,
Does anyone have any experience selling a mobile app? I'm curious about what a ballpark figure could be.
Yes, I've looked at flippa and other directories. Just looking for some personal anecdotes/figures from IHers!
Thanks!
While I can't share personal anecdotes, here's the gist:
App valuation depends on: Revenue, growth, user engagement, market competition, tech quality, and reach (local vs global).
Resources for valuation: Flippa, app valuation services, industry reports.
Remember: Valuation is subjective. Consider professional services for a more accurate estimate.
Good luck!

Did you sell it?
Howdy,
I have never sold a mobile app. But I suggest you try and find a local buyer, especially whose existing business(es) could benefit from it. Given the very limited information here: it seems that your business is at least worth somewhere in the low 6 figures.
I actually might be able to get in touch with someone from Victoria who would look at this deal :) spencer@suitebank.com
This really depends on the demographic and how monetizable the audience might be. What's the theme/space/demographics? What are the most plausible avenues to monetize? What kind of buyers might be interested?
Is the app monetized? What's the revenue?
What can the buyer do with the app? Does it need further development or maintenence?
