Hey IH,
What's great, my app just crossed 500+ downloads. Roughly 10 weeks since launch. No marketing outside twitter really. More just iterating, getting feedback, and improving.
My ASO is doing a lot better, my SEO is starting to hit on several keywords. Ironically this is my 1st app, but have experience in web SaaS, etc.
I'm looking to grow from 500 to 1k downloads in hopefully double the time (5-6 weeks). In order to do that I will be doing more than just tweeting :P I already have 8 blogs being worked on, focus more on facebook engagement, reddit, a product hunt / Betalist launches, working with my current users / audience, and more.
I would love to learn other ideas and tricks that experienced app developers / marketers have taken to help improve their initial downloads to over 1k, without ads and paid agencies.
