Mom's business looking for marketer/growth

Hey Goncalo ! Congrats to her, especially as those products are handmade.
I took a look at the website and the Instagram account. I can think of a few improvements and tips:

The instagram account looks pretty nice overall, but it feels like a duplicate of your website (mostly static pictures of the products).
I'd suggest :

• creating more diverse content to identify the type that generates the most engagement from your follower base and leveraging the analytics to insist on this content
• When you do post pictures of your products, you should at least leverage the "shop in Instagram" feature (+ using the "swipe up" feature on stories when you reach 10k !!)
• maybe think of using a tool like Canva for your stories

For me doing business on Instagram is very relevant, especially for handmade baby accessories, but in the end it's more about creating a community more than a business (and the sales will come) -> this is why I think you should diversify your content, appeal to people's emotions (usually easy with babies!), give tips, maybe do some live videos or reels, and ultimately (and this transitions to the website part) become some kind of reference in the head of your community when they think of babies/handmade items...
This means :

• Writing some blog articles on the topic to increase SEO and visibility (maybe some introduction to DIY ?) or videos (very convenient as you can post on Instagram, YouTube your website...).
• Getting some visibility on other Instagram accounts/websites -> this should be doable with your 10k followers base

I would also suggest using Shopify instead of Wordpress :-) I find it so much faster to create a website that feels professional (while keeping the "handmade" touch of course).

However I think you should mention in your post that Italian is a huge + to help you guys :-) I don't feel like I can be of much help as I don't understand the language...

A great podcast to listen to for instagram is “Build Your Tribe” Hosted by Charlene Johnson and her son Brock. They post new episodes often and are quite short to digest. They also help keep you updated on the latest trends and what works through their coaching and polling statistics.

For instance right now standard IG post and stories are really falling short and the new hotness is IG Reels. I think this may be what I would cal the TicTok affect. People go on their social platforms to waste their time and see what is going on and IG Reels is kind of like how TikTok algorithms work.

Research suggest video content is consumed more often and interacted with a lot more than static posts. So maybe having a weekly Show & Tell of new clothing may get people interested in watching and awaiting for the latest articles of clothing being offered.

Remember, the key to social is often and consistent meaning people know when new stuff comes out to digest.

I apologize for the sporadic ideas and suggestions as I have not looked at your mother IG since I’m on a plane right now, so disregard if you are already doing and know what I’m suggesting!
