Are you using any special techniques/frameworks for contract bidding?
Not in particular. Just general project bid guidelines. I don't get too complex with it. They key is to start the conversation with a good cover letter. Everything else comes out of discussion that happens later.
Nice! How are the contract bids rolling in? Top-line funnel, sales, etc?
It's actually just me responding to requests on Upwork. My skill set and history means I can bid on jobs at a decent rate with less competition than some other areas. Feels like a nice passive way to build a customer base of repeat clients. I have some local connections too, but it hasn't required a great deal of work to find contracts so far.
