Love the idea of making thoughtful tiny games! Would love to hear more. Are you just making them by yourself?

Thanks! It's just me as I'm looking to keep costs low. Currently I'm getting familiar with Godot Engine as it's open source and free. It's been great so far if you have any interest in checking it out.

From business side, I'm testing this out to see how a small game performs compared to an ebook or video course. I have a feeling it will be lower but want to test it out.

Nice! That is super interesting. I had some success with a VR bowling game I made a few years ago. Even though income from that project died out after the first month or so compared to my ebook that I released in early November it has made a lot more money. I'm hoping the ebook sales will grow instead of shrink like the game sales did but I don't want to get too excited.

I had to ask if you were working by yourself because I'm interested in collaborating with someone on a game project, especially projects that don't require a super long commitment. So let me know if you change your mind or anything. Haven't used Godot before but I love that its open source. I've used Unity, Phaser, and picking up Pico-8 currently.

Your experience between the game and ebook is good to know. I'm aligned in thinking that the ebook would have a longer product curve. Excitement for indie games seem to come and go quickly. Also, congrats on the release of your book!

I'm still in the stage of learning a lot but I would be interested in game collaborations maybe in a month or two. Feel free to reach out if you come upon anything that may be of interest to collaborate on. Otherwise, I'll get in touch once I complete 1 or 2 quick games.
