Monday Stand Up: What will you accomplish today?

What did you accomplish yesterday? What will you accomplish today?

    I'm baaaack! πŸ‘‹

    Yesterday

    • Worked on a few Twilio based integrations and dealt with headaches caused by Docker in my local development environment. (Docker for Mac can be a real pain... it also nearly sets your computer on fire when you spin it up. I much prefer something like Laravel's valet comparatively as it runs really really fast).

    Today

    • Working a bit more on the enterprise offerings for Repobox. I've got some clients interested in some of the features like vulnerability scanning, dependency control and package repository caching. So far the move to just support PHP/NPM as a kit out of the box seems to resonate with people. It's a commonly used tech stack and they no longer have to purchase two separate products to fill that need.

    Kudos πŸ”₯
@rmccullagh for shipping dedicated worker nodes. It's a huge help to us at Repobox and I know your customers will love it! Again, this is a testament to building with other IHers. The support is fantastic.

@StanBright for launching and hustling on SaasHub. It's a great experience, and I'm curious about your roadmap into the future!

Thanks @jimmylipham! You can read about my roadmap here :) https://signalvnoise.com/posts/694-you-dont-need-a-product-road-map

p.s. there isn't a huge roadmap. The near-future one is - build a few more features, then work further on improving the quality of alternatives.

    2. 1

Thanks @jimmylipham for the love! - I'm really excited about RepoBox and especially all the Composer integrations !

I'm working on closing the "follow loop" on Indie Hackers. Basically, I want to do a better job rewarding people who are making good posts and racking up followers. This means doing a better job surfacing the things you post to your followers. Step 1 that I'm working on today is adding a section to the daily community digest email that shows posts from those you follow.

    Yesterday

    Today

    • Keep clients happy so I can have cash flow
    • Bring awareness to the product by talking to people. Ideally, get some feedback.
    • Keep moving the needle forward so I can offer the most value in the product. https://trello.com/b/CYjwnLHZ/story-creator

Today: First post to the IH community! Haven't received any likes or comments yet, but I suppose that comes with commenting on others' posts?

Not much, I'm headed to Florida to meet with a new company for a big contract. Looking forward to writing while on the plane. Have to reorganize my usual development schedule a bit this month, since I won't have access to my usual development machine, but that just means I'm focused on content from day one.

Dev on automatedapi requires Docker to be running and it simply doesn't function well on my laptop.
