🎯 August goals:

• Launch Bolt
• Acquire first users
• Begin building features from roadmap - ideally guest commenting, file upload, responsive live URL views.

📅 What I did yesterday:

• Absolutely nothing, except relax! I needed some downtime to recharge my batteries and refocus myself. Taking a break is always helpful!

🏆 What I'll do today:

• I'm growing our prelaunch list and testing the application + fixing bugs.

  I actually got confused with https://www.bolt.com/. Might want to look into user confusion with brand and name. Especially with the name and color. Might also cause headaches for you in IP later.

    Thanks man! Yeah I didnt even know about the .com version until a few weeks ago. If we get big enough, I may switch over branding, but we're in different domains so it'll be a good problem to have if I do have to change!

My plans are launching Pingr on HN & PH

Yesterday I posted on HN, it was my first try, without much success.

Today I'm going to work a bit on mobile version of my site, because much traffic from HN is mobile

Busy week!
- Getting all the talks recorded and the graphics ready for Byteconf Flutter, a remote Flutter conference I'm organizing on Friday
- Continuing to try and get more people into the Mailing List Hackers chat (please join if you're interested!)
I'm on PTO this week, so I'm excited to find a nice balance between getting all of this stuff wrapped before Friday, and hopefully getting some time to go outside and enjoy a break from a pretty hectic last couple months!

This weekend I took a tiny break to put together #makersneakpeek twitter bot.

But this week my goal is to get the new landing page for Primcloud.com up, so it's more informative as the current one is probably losing a lot of leads due to being useless content wise.

Goal for August:
- Finish work on all projects & contracts (other than job) to make room for new idea
Friday + Weekend:
- Finalized contract for gig #1 (Waiting on lawyers now)
- Assembled list of users to receive premium announcement
- Added ToS
Today:
- Deploy paid feature changes to site
- Test new site with new features + subscription
- Send email to users to announce changes

Goals for August:
- Find a fellow SaaS founder to provide a dataset for us
- Reach 200 waitlist subscriptions (currently at 150)
- Complete the Tractific MVP with the found dataset
Yesterday: Published the dataset post on a few subreddits and indiehackers, talked with a few people about it over email, still waiting for some responses

Today: A few minor fixes from the task list and finalizing the email convos started yesterday

August I plan to expand on one of my earlier services and have an MVP for another project that I have cooking up.

Yesterday I did a figma design for an admin interface that will allow me to monetize one of my earlier platforms.

Today I got the boilerplate out of the way and built out some of the initial front end.

- Drive more sales (50 sales by Sept)
- Optimize sales within the product by being more data-driven
- Polish the product based on feedback
- Write more content, share product tips, and share examples of types of videos users can create.
📅 What I did yesterday:
- Fixed a bug with vercel serverless functions timing out by switching to pure lambda.
- Fixed a positioning bug with animated text/motion graphic elements.
- Spent time going outside and taking a break
🏆 What I'll do today:
- Finalizing bug fixes -- running tests then putting into production
- Following up with some potential customers
- Start strategizing about data analytics and monitoring user behavior

Newsletter: 100+ ☑️
New Portfolio: ✅
Try a new language: ✅ (Deno + Japanese)

So actually really on a good track already!
